RSW: Garden of Pythagoras Trees

RSW: Garden of Pythagoras Trees

Quite soon after I posted last week’s The Fractal Tree, which showcases a Pythagoras Tree, I received an email from Manny Lorenzo, who sent me an email containing this Pythagoras Tree. I thought it looked a bit simple, but awesome nonetheless.

And hence, to kick off the Reader Submission Week, here’s Manny Lorenzo’s The Garden of Pythagoras Trees!

Unlike the previous fractal tree, this one is uniquely colored. It having a slight green tinge, I was quickly reminded of brocollis, and of romanescos, of course. Topology experts will confirm that though this was made with 3D blocks, it conforms strictly to the traditional shape and sense of a typical Pythagorean Tree.

And thus concludes the first Reader Submission Week post of March 2008! Here’s to more in the future! We’re still open for submissions, so why hesitate? Use the Contact Form to submit images NOW!
