Recursive Cartoon

Recursive Cartoon

Sorry for not actively posting the last few weeks. Life has been hectic. But the crazies are slowing down, and hopefully, soon over, and I’ll be posting regularly again.

Anyways, a short one today, without much explanation. Today’s math art isn’t so much mathematical, than it is art. It’s a cartoon. The math-cartoon was drawn by Hugh MacLeod, from the delightful blog, GapingVoid.

GapingVoid isn’t as much a webcomic as xkcd, but heck, it’s still fun at times. It labels itself as ‘cartoons drawn on the back of business cards’, and the cartoons drawn certainly do seem so.

This cartoon is a recursive self similar cartoon, not quite mathematically, though it is safe to say it does on a very rough approximation, recur and is self-similar.

Right. So… there you are. Something light for a change. While I go back to settle the crazies. See you guys real soon!
